Clean and Jerk  (any type of clean, any type of jerk)
     15 unbroken rest 3 min max
     12 unbroken rest 2 min max

(pick weights as needed, then increase each round, bar CANNOT rest on ground at any time in set; score is weight used in pounds per set multiplied by the reps – i.e. (135 lbs x 15) + (155 x 12) + (175 x 9) = 5460 score)

For the first time in my life, I’ve been truly cognizant of how environmental factors affect my emotions and how I feel each day.  Spending time out in the sun truly makes a difference for me.    READ THIS GREAT POST FROM DR. MICHAEL EADES on “HELIOPHOBIA.” I grew up in that time when the fear of skin cancer was not nearly as pervasive and neurotic as it is today.  Our kids will spend the first 45 minutes or so at the pool without any sunblock on.  After that, we’ll put some on those areas most likely to get burned (top of shoulders, ears, cheeks), but that’s it…same goes for me.
