“CrossFit is my ticket to good health now, to strength into my 90s, and to wellness for a lifetime. CrossFit-HR is my vehicle. All thanks to Jeremy and Nicole, the heart and soul of CrossFit-HR. I challenge you to find a gym that will inspire you to be better than status quo. This is the foundation of CrossFit-HR.
These two incredible people will motivate you and encourage you to do things you never thought you could do, never WANTED to do! And if you have to cry whilst facing your undeniable fear of the 20” box, they won’t even laugh. Proper form and execution of every move is at the forefront of every workout. And, they have this uncanny ability to move you at your ‘own pace’ while challenging you at the same time and you never saw it coming! Before you know it, you’re deadlifting 115#….in three months time. Bottom line is…they give a s*** about you, your progress, both mentally and physically as those two really go hand in hand, and your wellness. But, be forewarned, their passion for a healthy life and for CrossFit is completely infectious. You may actually give up your Big Gulp habit, your dependence on McDonalds and quite possible (could it be so?!) your addiction to Trader Joe’s mini chocolate chip cookies, all for your physical and mental well being. Peruse the site, email Jeremy & Nicole, and ask lots of questions. But, make it a priority to come in for a workout. Just one is all it takes….all it took for me and it was ‘hook, line, and sinker’, as the saying goes. And, for all of you muscle-heads out there who dare to rise to the challenge, prepare to be humbled.” -Sandi

I can’t even begin to say how happy the progress I’ve made in the past couple of months has made me, it just feels incredible. I’ve realized in the past two months, even maybe every time I’m in the box, that I can do much more than I thought I would be able to do since my injuries. Nicole “encouraged” me last night to keep the 115# on the bar for DT when I was thinking of bumping it down and though it was hard to do, I did it and kept with it…I didn’t let the bar beat me! She told me that I’d just get mad at myself for dropping the weight and sure enough I would have. I haven’t been to any other gym’s in a long time but I know if I was trying to work out at the YMCA or any other gym, I would have probably just given in when doing something like that because the encouragement and intensity just isn’t there like so many people have said before. I started out at 240lbs, 47″ chest, 47.5 waist, 16″ neck and also measured biceps, thighs and calves. When I weighed in this morning, I almost couldn’t believe that I saw 211lbs…I haven’t seen 211 in at least a few years!!! We took my measurements last weekend and I’m just amazed at the results, overall I’ve lost 11 1/4 inches. I’ve lost 2.75″ on my chest (now 44.25″), 4″ on my waist (now 43.5″) and .5″ on my neck (now 15.75). I’m starting to dig out clothes that I used to wear and am starting to fit back into them, I’m not going on that shopping spree just yet though! My blood pressure has gone down since starting as well and I just feel all around better. I’ve accomplished so much more than I thought I would have in the past 9 or 10 weeks and I can’t thank you guys and the other trainers enough as well as my fellow athletes! Among other things, I managed to get my first kipping pullup last week which is huge for me since I could barely to pullups in general with the black band when I first came in. I feel like I’m getting stronger and have more stamina each and every time I come in. I still have a lot to learn and do but I look forward to seeing what the future brings now instead of worrying about gaining weight and my health declining. There is something special there at CFHR. Great people, great times, great workouts! Keep up the amazing job and thank you all for everything, you guys are awesome! -Scott

“When I first started working with Nicole, I could hardly do a pushup (or) squat before my legs got all wobbly. A few days ago she timed us to see what we could do in twenty minutes. I could not believe that we did 150 sit ups, 75 squats and 75 push ups in 20 minutes. You are talking to a person who has never worked out, EVER and getting to the above level in less then 4 weeks. Nicole cares about my results and has total confidence in CrossFit. She is very protective of her students and wants to make sure they are successful and safe.
