UPSIDE DOWN! Wed, Aug 5th

Wednesday’s Warmup:
5 x ten second handstand hold
10 x abroll (click for video demo)
50 x squats

Wednesday’s WOD:
Back Squat (do not do this if you did B.S. on Tuesday…mainly 5 and 6 am)
Warm up B.S. with 1 set of 7 empty bar, 1 set of 5 moderate loading, then 1 set of 3 at 70% of your 1 rep max from last week. Take no more than 5 minutes for this. Then:

5 sets of 2 reps (2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2) at 85% of 1 rep max
rest exactly 90 seconds between sets

rest, then:

(everyone does this):

“Upside down You’re turnin me”
For time:
please use the wallball wall for these
Scaling option = instead of coming up for handstand, come up for donkey kick.

Here’s another local source for LOCALLY GROWN, Organic produce. They also sell Polyface Farms (as shown yesterday) meat!!

We’ll definitely be checking out this one!

I’d also like to say thank you to several of our Athletes (Brett R, Jay…anyone else?) who have been bringing in home-grown vegetables and fruits (tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, etc.). They’ll usually be in a bag on the front table in the gym…feel free to take home anything that’s in there!
