Originally posted on OPT’s site. What a great example of quick & aggressive extension. Look at how fast he gets under the bar in both the clean and the jerk.


 Part A:
    Deadlift – 3 sets of 3 reps @ 90% 1RM
    rest as needed between sets

Part B:
   Split Jerk – 3 sets of 2 reps @ 85% 1 RM
   rest as needed between sets

It does not matter which lift you start with.

Level 1 athletes use this opportunity to slowly build to a perceived 1 RM in these lifts.
